The first two waves are Elite Heat separately for men at 9:00 am (Heat Elite Men), and for women at 9:15 (Heat Elite Women). After Elite heats follow  Age Group heats occupied by both men and women together. After Age Group heats follow two waves of SRTG (Spartan Race Training Group) which are special waves for members-only Spartan Race training groups from each city. Other waves that start at 10:00 as public (Open Heat) and can be occupied by both men and women together.
