Foreigners Using Medical Help At A Race

Use of medical service at races abroad outside the country of permanent residence.

Travel insurance services for competitors outside their home country.

All competitors who travel to races outside their country of permanent residence are insured for all races organized in CEU (except HH, workout and Kids races) with the provision of assistance service for foreigners through Metlife insurance company.

In the event that the competitor is injured during the race and has to be sent to a hospital abroad for urgent medical treatment, he will contact the Metlife insurance company by phone at its selected phone number. The Travel Insurance program should be understood in this case as insurance for injuries that occurred directly at the Spartan race on the race track and not on the trip or stay associated with the Spartan race. For example, if you are injured in a traffic accident on your way to a race or on your way home after a race, you will not be covered by this program. The insurance only covers injuries caused during the obstacle course race from the start to the finish.
